tert-Butyl 2-(2-cyano-5-hydroxy-8-methyl-7-oxo-7,8-dihydropyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine-6-carboxamido)acetate. The title compound is prepared by reaction of tert-butyl 2-(5-hydroxy-8-methyl-2-(methylsulfonyl)-7-oxo-7,8-dihydropyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine-6-carboxamido)acetate with sodium cyanide according to the procedure described in Bioorg. Med. Chem. Lett., 17, 6206 (2007).
