The sub-title compound was prepared in accordance with step (a) Example 67 from 5-bromo-3-formyl-1-(4-isopropoxyphenyl)indole-2-carboxylic acid ethyl ester (4.07 g, 9.46 mmol; see step (b) above) and 4-tert-butylphenylboronic acid (2.53 g, 14.19 mmol). Yield 4.16 g (91%).
