The title compound was prepared in accordance with the general method of Example 1, from 2-bromopyridine (20 mg, 0.13 mmol) and 2-(but-3-ynyl)-5-fluoro-2H-benzo[d][1,2,3]triazole (24 mg, 0.13 mmol). Reaction time: 1 day. The crude residue was purified by flash chromatography (DCM/MeOH 99:1) and SCX column (DCM, DCM/MeOH 98:2 to DCM/MeOH/NH4OH 95:4:1) to yield 7.6 mg (26 μmol, 21%) of 5-fluoro-2-(4-(pyridin-2-yl)but-3-ynyl)-2H-benzo[d][1,2,3]triazole as a yellow solid.
