tert-butyl 3-(2-(methoxycarbonyl)aminoethoxy)-3-(3-chlorophenyl)propyl(methyl)carbamate (100 mg) was dissolved in a solution of 20% (V/V) TFA/CH2Cl2 (8 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 h, then concentrated in vacuo to afford methyl 2-(1-(3-chlorophenyl)-3-(methylamino)propoxy)ethylcarbamate (150 mg, 100%), was used for the next step without purification.
