The title compound was prepared in 21% yield from 4-methyl-2-(5-trifluoromethanesulfonyloxy-4′-trifluoromethyl-biphenyl-3-yl)-pentanoic acid methyl ester (prepared in Example 26, step (f)) and 3-fluoro-5-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-[1,3,2]dioxaborolan-2-yl)-benzonitrile under the conditions described in Example 26, step (d).
