Using the procedure described in Example 55, Part B, N1-(4-methoxybenzoyl)-1,2-benzenediamine (772 mg, 3.19 mmol) was reacted with 4-(methylthio)benzoic acid (772 mg, 4.59 mmol) to yield 1.13 g (91%) of the title compound as a white solid.
