Purified antibodies or their fragments, obtained as described in paragraph A at 1 mg/ml in PBS, were biotinylated for 3 hours at 25° C. (ambient temperature) by adding 37 μl of 10 mg/ml solution of NHS-LC-Biotin, Product #21335; Pierce, Rockford, Ill) in anhydrous DMF. Subsequently, the derivatized antibody was buffer-exchanged on a G25F column into PBS and stored at 0-4° C.
