The same operation as in Example (1i) was performed using ethyl cis(±)-2-(4-{[(5-ethyl-4-iodo-1H-imidazol-2-yl)carbonyl]amino}-3-methoxypiperidin-1-yl)-4-methyl-1,3-thiazole-5-carboxylate obtained in Example (58d) (130 mg, 0.24 mmol) and 2 N lithium hydroxide (3 mL), to obtain 40.7 mg of the title compound as a pale red solid (32%).
