The same operation as in Example (1i) was performed using ethyl cis(±)-2-(4-{[(4,5-diiodo-1H-imidazol-2-yl)carbonyl]amino}-3-methoxypiperidin-1-yl)-4-methyl-1,3-thiazole-5-carboxylate obtained in Example (71d) (83 mg, 0.13 mmol) and 2 N lithium hydroxide (2 mL), to obtain 66.9 mg of the title compound as a white solid (84%).
