Reaction Steps
Nα-t-butoxycarbonyl-O-benzyl-L-tyrosyl-D-alanyl-L-leucine methyl ester, 5.7 g., 10 mmol, in 20 ml. of dichloromethane and 50 ml. of trifluoroacetic acid are reacted together for 10 minutes at 25° C. The solution is evaporated and the residual oil used directly.
