Using the same general procedure as described for Compound 21, but using instead 4-(4-methylpentyl)bromobenzene (Compound 30), the title compound was synthesized as a colorless oil. PMR (CDCl3): & 0.32 (9H, s), 0.93 (6H, d, J-6.6 Hz), 1.18-1.29 (2H, m), 1.52-1.70 (3H, m), 2.58 (2H, t, J-7.7 Hz), 7.12 (2H, d, J-8.1 Hz), 7.43 (2H, d, J-8.1 Hz).
