Procedure

The title compound was synthesized in a similar manner as described for stage 58.1.2 using 5-bromo-2-methyl-pyridin-3-ol (stage 189.1.2, 2.234 mmol) and 1,3-difluoro-2-propanol (Aldrich, Buchs, Switzerland, 2.68 mmol) to give the title compound as a yellow oil. (HPLC: tR 2.41 min (Method A); M+H=266, 268 MS-ES).
