trifluoroacetic acid (2 mL) was added to a stirred solution of tert-butyl 3-(2-(2-(4-(2-s isopropylthiazole-4-carbonyl)-1-oxa-4,9-diazaspiro[5.5]undecan-9-yl)ethoxy)phenethoxy)propanoate (0.320 g) (example 178 step c) in DCM (5 mL). After 16 h, the solution was evaporated to a gum. The gum was dissolved in acetonitrile (5 mL) and evaporated in vacuo (repeated 3 times). Yield 0.4 g.
