(2S,4R)-5-Biphenyl-4-yl-2-hydroxymethyl-2-methyl-4-[(3H-[1,2,3]triazole-4-carbonyl)-amino]-pentanoic acid (100 mg, 245 μmol, 1.0 eq) was dissolved in 4 M of HCl in dioxane (0.6 mL) and 2-(2-methoxyethoxy)-ethanol (3 mL). The resulting mixture was stirred overnight at 65° C. The solvent was evaporated and AcOH was added. The product was then purified by preparative HPLC to yield the title compound (70 mg, 95% purity). MS m/z [M+H]+ calc'd for C22H34N4O6, 511.25. found 511.4
