400 mg of 5-(4-chloro-2-(1-cyclopropylethylcarbamoyl)phenylcarbamoyl)-1-(3-chloropyridin-2-yl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-3-yl4-nitrobenzene sulfonate was dissolved in 0.7 mL of acetic acid, and 0.3 mL of a 33 mass % hydrogen bromide acetic acid solution was dropwise added, followed by stirring for about 1 hour. After completion of the reaction, ethyl acetate, water and 2 mL of 1 N sodium hydroxide were added, followed by stirring and extraction with ethyl acetate. Then, concentration under reduced pressure was carried out to obtain a crude product. The crude product was purified by silica gel column chromatography (eluent: n-hexane/ethyl acetate=3/2) to obtain 310 mg of the desired product in a paste form.
