Reaction Steps
To a solution of tert-butyl[(1S)-1-(5-fluoropyrimidin-2-yl)ethyl]carbamate (Intermediate 14, 0.21 g, 0.87 mmol) in DCM (5 ml) was added HCl (1.3 ml, 5.2 mmol) in dioxane. The reaction was stirred at room temperature for 3 hours. The solvent was removed give the title compound as white solid (quantitative). MS: Calculated: 141. Found: [M+H]+ 142.
