tert-Butyl 2-(6-(10-chloro-1-oxo-3,4-dihydropyrazino[1,2-a]indol-2(1H)-yl)-1H-indol-1-yl)acetate (2.22 mmol, 1.0 equiv.) was dissolved in DCM (15 ml); TFA (3 ml) was added, and the mixture was stirred for 2 h at 25° C. The solvent was concentrated under reduced pressure, and the residue was taken up in DCM (60 ml), washed with water (25 ml) and sat. NaCl solution (25 ml), dried over Na2SO4 and concentrated to dryness under reduced pressure. Yield: 91%
