[5-(4-Bromo-phenyl)-3-methyl-isoxazol-4-yl]-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (2.0 g, 5.6 mmol), 1-[4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-[1,3,2]dioxaborolan-2-yl)-phenyl]-cyclopropanecarboxylic acid ethyl ester (1.78 g, 5.6 mmol), tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0) (0.65 g, 0.56 mmol), and sodium bicarbonate (1.4 g, 16.8 mmol) were combined in DME (30 mL) and H2O (10 mL), and the mixture was purged with N2 (g). The reaction was stirred at 80° C. overnight, and after aqueous workup, the crude material was purified by silica gel chromatography (0-40% EtOAc in hexanes) to give the title compound.
