A mixture of 5-(2-chloro-pyridine-3-carbonyl)-1H-pyrrole-3-sulfonic acid (2-morpholin-4-yl-ethyl)-amide (100 mg) and hydrazine hydrate (excess) in ethanol (5 mL) was heated at 80° C. for 48 hours. The reaction was concentrated, diluted with water, acidified to pH 2 with 1N HCl and extracted with DCM. The aqueous layer was adjusted to pH 7 with NaHCO3, the precipitate was collected by vacuum filtration, washed with water to give the titled compound as a white solid.
