Procedure
To the purified product Y, (68 mg, 0.136 mmol) was added trifluoroacetic acid (2 mL) and water (1 mL). The reaction mixture was then swirled and left to stand for 12 h. The mixture was then concentrated under vacuum and dissolved in dichloromethane (250 mL) dichloromethane (50 mL) and neutralized with saturated bicarbonate solution (150 mL). The organic layer was then dried over sodium sulfate and concentrated under vacuum to provide Example 154 as a white solid. Yield: 90%.
