To a solution of 2-[(4-chloro-benzyl)-pyrrolidin-3-yl-amino]-N-ethyl-acetamide (0.09 g, 0.31 mmol) in acetonitrile:water (4:1) was added potassium carbonate (0.07 g, 0.51 mmol) and (E)-2-[5-(3-bromo-propylidene)-5,11-dihydro-10-oxa-1-aza-dibenzo[a,d]cyclohepten-7-yl]-propan-2-ol (0.095 g, 0.25 mmol) and the resulting mixture was stirred at 50° C. for 24 h. The reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo, diluted with ethyl acetate, and dried over sodium sulfate.
