To a solution of N-(2-(2-(2-aminoethoxy)ethoxy)ethyl)-4-(6,8-dichloro-2-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinolin-4-yl)benzenesulfonamide (intermediate 175.1) (110 mg, 0.22 mmol) in DMF (2.0 mL) was added bis(2,5-dioxopyrrolidin-1-yl) 2,3-dihydroxysuccinate (Intermediate 168.1) (34 mg, 0.10 mmol) and the reaction was stirred for 10 minutes. The solvent was removed under vacuum and the residue was purified by preparative HPLC to give the title compound (23 mg) as a TFA salt. 1H-NMR (400 mHz, CD3OD) δ 7.81 (m, 4H), 7.44 (s, 1H), 7.37 (m, 2H), 6.75 (s, 1H), 4.64 (m, 4H), 4.37 (m, 4H), 3.72 (m, 2H), 3.46 (m, 10H), 3.38 (m, 12H), 3.02 (m, 10H). MS (m/z): 1117.02 [M+H]+.
