The title compound was prepared from 2-{4-[3-(2-Allyl-4-phenoxy-phenoxy)-propoxy]-phenyl}-3-methoxy-propionic acid ethyl ester from Example 160, Step B which was treated in ethyl acetate with Pd(C) and H2 in balloon presure to give after filtration the corresponding reduced product which was hydrolyzed under Standard Procedure C to give the title compound.
