Procedure
A 1.0 N NaOH solution (0.40 mL) was added to a solution of methyl 1-{6-[3-(2-pyridin-4-yl-thiazol-4-yl)ureido]-pyridin-2-ylmethyl}pyrrolidine-2-carboxylate (3 mg, 6.84 μM, Example 77) in MeOH (1 mL) and the resulting mixture was stirred at RT for 12 h. The mixture was adjusted to pH 7 with 1N HCl solution and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was dissolved in CH2Cl2 and a few drops of MeOH. A precipitate formed and was collected to give a white solid. MS m/z: 423.5 (M−H) Calc'd for C20H20N6O3S-424.48.
