To 1.5 g of 4-(4-chloro-3-sulfamoylphenyl)-3-methyl-2-methylimino-1,3-thiazolidine-4-ol 0.7 g of lactic acid were added in 10 ml of ethanol, the mixture was stirred for 3 hours at room temperature and precipitated with diisopropyl ether. After decanting of the solvent the oil was dissolved in water and lyophilized. The result was a colorless, amorphous solid substance that was decomposed from 120° C onwards γC=N 1630 cm-1.
