Reaction Steps
By the procedure of Example 7, 20.2g (0.05 mole) of 2,7-bis(5-chlorovaleryl)fluorene, prepared in Example 2, 34.9g (0.4 mole) of morpholine were reacted to give the desired product which was recrystallized twice from methylene chloride-methanol. M.P. 134°-136.5° C, λmax0.1NHCl 325, Elcm1% 776.
