Reaction Steps
A process as set forth in claim 1 wherein the improvement further comprises reacting acetic anhydride with the p-aminophenol contained in said purified raffinate to produce N-acetyl-p-aminophenol, and recovering N-acetyl-p-aminophenol from the acetylation reaction mixture.
