A solution of compound 33a (0.164 mmol) and Et3N (0.5 mL) in CH2Cl2 (2 mL) was treated with N,N-dimethylsulfamoyl chloride (26 μL, 0.246 mmol) at room temperature. The resulting mixture was stirred for 3 h, and the solvent was then removed under reduced pressure. The resultant residue was directly loaded onto a silica gel column and was purified by silica gel flash column chromatography, eluting with 5% MeOH/CH2Cl2 to give compound 439 (51.5 mg). 1H NMR (CDCl3): δ 7.61 (d, J=8.21 Hz, 2H), 7.36-7.46 (m, 5H), 6.86 (d, J=8.6 Hz, 2H), 4.98 (m, 1H), 4.31 (br. s., 1H), 4.11-4.26 (m, 2H), 4.05 (br. s., 1H), 3.87-3.96 (m, 1H), 3.84 (m, 1H), 3.70-3.79 (m, 1H), 3.66 (dd, J=11.4, 4.8 Hz, 1H), 3.39-3.58 (m, 4H), 3.21-3.26 (m, 1H), 2.82 (s, 6H), 2.42 (br. s., 4H), 2.19-2.29 (m, 2H); MS m/z (M+H+) 542.0.
