Reaction Steps

The compound of Example 8 (161 mg, 0.25 mmol) is mixed under an argon atmosphere with acetyl chloride (10 ml) and stirring is maintained for 15 hours at 23° C. The reaction mixture is then evaporated to dryness (entrainment with toluene) and the residue obtained is purified on a silica column (eluent: CH2Cl2/EtOH from 99/1 to 90/10). After evaporation, the expected compound is obtained in the form of a cream coloured foam with a yield of 52%.
