The mixture of 4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenol (3.4 g, 17.30 mmol), 3,4,5-trifluorobenzaldehyde (2.7 g, 16.87 mmol) and K2CO3 (2.80 g, 20.24 mmol) in DMF was heated with a microwave reactor at 60° C. for 1 h. Purification via a flash column chromatography then afforded the title compound (4.5 g, 79% yield). LCMS: rt=3.88 min, [M+H+]=337
