To a solution of Example 204 (0.8 g, 1.14 mmol, 1.0 eq.) in methanol (10 mL) was added potassium carbonate (0.078 g, 0.57 mmol, 0.5 eq.) at room temperature. The reaction mixture was allowed to stir at room temperature for 18 hours and then concentrated under reduced pressure. The resulting residue was washed with distilled water (10 mL) and extracted with ethyl acetate (3×10 mL). The combined extracts were dried over magnesium sulfate, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure to afford the desired product as pale yellow oil (0.75 g, 97%). 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ10.68 (s, 1 H), 7.73 (d, 1H), 7.26-7.14 (m, 4H), 6.94 (dd, 1H), 6.86-6.75 (m, 5H), 4.21-4.02 (m, 2H), 3.83 (s, 3H), 3.80-3.56 (m, 4H), 3.40-3.21 (m, 2H), 2.80-2.67 (m, 2H), 1.95-1.92 (m, 1H), 1.65-1.60 (m, 1H), 1.38 (s, 9H), 0.83 (s, 9H), 0.001 (s, 6H).
