Procedure

By treating 10 g of N-(3-pyridyl)ethylenediamine and 4.5 g of cinnamyl chloride (trans-form) in the same manner as in Example 106-(1), 2.91 g of (E)-N-cinnamyl-N'-(3-pyridyl)ethylenediamine was obtained as an oily substance.
