In a similar manner to that described in Example 2-(i), the reaction was carried out by using 6-[1-hydroxy-2-methyl-1-(1-trityl-1H-imidazol-4-yl)propyl]-2-naphthyl trifluoromethanesulfonate (2.0 g) and 2-(tributylstannyl)thiophene (1.27 mL) to give the titled compound (1.43 g) as a colorless powder.
