The title compound was prepared in a fashion similar to that described in Example 193 from 5-fluoro-3-(piperidin-4-yl)-1H-indole (0.87 g, 4.0 mmol) and (S)-(+)-4-(oxiranylmethoxy)-1H-indole (0.76 g, 4.0 mmol). The product was isolated as a white foam. Yield 1.14 g (70%). mp 94°-97° C. FDMS m/e=407 (M+ of free base). α[D]589 =+8.36 (c=1.00, methanol/dimethylsulfoxide).
