Reaction Steps
16.5 g (35 mmol) of 4-allyloxy-3'-dimethylaminomethyleneaminosulfonyl-2,3,4'-trichlorobenzophenone in 200 ml of diphenyl ether are heated at 210° to 215° C. for 1 hour, and the still warm mixture is poured in portions, with stirring, into 1.2 l of petroleum ether. The precipitate is filtered off, washed several times with petroleum ether and recrystallized from methanol. Colorless crystals, melting point 190°-193° C.
