2-[4-(Aminomethyl)-3-fluorophenyl]ethylamine (0.3 g, 1.25 mmol) was combined with methanesulfonyl chloride (0.2 mL, 2.75 mmol), and DBU (1 mL, 3.12 mmol) in a manner analogous to the procedure described in example 2 to provide the final title compound, [(2-fluoro-4-{2-[(methylsulfonyl)amino]ethyl}phenyl)methyl](methylsulfonyl)amine, (0.15 g, 37%) as a white crystalline solid.
