After 1.83 g of the [(3,4-methylenedioxy)aniline]-N-t-butoxycarbonyl-S-methylcysteinamide obtained above in (A) were dissolved in 20 ml of ethyl acetate, hydrochloric acid gas was ebulated at room temperature under stirring until no fresh precipitate was formed. The colorless precipitate so obtained was collected by filtration and then dried, whereby 1.25 g of [(3,4-methylenedioxy)aniline]-S-methylcysteinamide hydrochloride were obtained (yield: 83%).
