Procedure

To a solution of alcohol (1.2 g) from Step 2 in CH2Cl2 (25 mL) was added molecular sieves powder (1 g, flame dried) and PCC (1 g). After 40 min, the reaction mixture was poured on a plug of SiO2 (wet with Et2O), and eluted with Et2O. The solvent was evaporated to give the title product.
