The title compound was prepared according to the procedure described in (Step b) from N-((1R)-2-[4-(2-{[2-(1,3-dioxoisoindolin-2-yl)ethyl] (methylsulfonyl)-amino}phenyl)-piperidyl]-1-[(4-chlorophenyl)methyl]-2-oxoethyl}(tert-butoxy)carboxamide (Step c) (1.77 g, 2.5 mmol) and satd anhydrous HCl in EtOAc (50 mL). The title compound was obtained as a white solid (1.61 g). MS (ESI, pos. ion) m/z: 609 (M+1); MS (ESI, neg. ion) m/z: 607 (M−1). Calc'd for C31H14Cl2N4O5S: 645.60.
