Reaction Steps
(S)-(Benzylcarbamoyl-phenyl-methyl)-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (0.85 g, 2.50 mmol) was dissolved in HCl/dioxane(10 mL, 4.0 M). The mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. The volatiles were removed under reduced pressure to provide the desired product in quantitative yield.
