A solution of Example 184 (2.84 g, 5.5 mmol) in 20 mL of dioxane was cooled to 0° C., treated with 60 mL of 4N HCl in dioxane, allowed to warm to room temp, stirred for 2 hrs, and concentrated in vacuo to afford the title compound (2.96 g, 100% yield). 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ ppm 0.39 (m, 1H), 0.72 (s, 9H), 0.82 (m, 1H), 1.56 (s, 3H), 2.03 (m, 1H), 2.22 (m, 1H), 4.61 (s, 2H), 7.26 (s, 1H), 7.52 (m, 1H), 7.74 (d, J=4.0 Hz, 2H), 8.13 (d, J=7.7 Hz, 1H), 14.07 (s, 1H); MS (APCI+) m/z 475 (M+H)+.
