Procedure
To a solution of methyl 3-fluoro-4-[3-(1-quinolin-6-ylcyclopropyl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidin-6-yl]benzoate (100 mg, 0.2 mmol) in 5 ml of THF-MeOH—H2O (3:1:1) was added 2M of lithium hydroxide in water (0.23 mL) at 0° C. under N2. The solution was stirred for 10 min at 0° C., and 1.5 h at RT. The reaction solution was concentrated to dryness to give the desired product which was directly used in next step without further purification.
