To a solution of 74 (235 mg, 0.5 mmol) in dry THF (5 mL), 2-phenylacetyl isothiocyanate (159 mg, 0.9 mmol) was added and the reaction was allowed to stir for 30 min. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure and the resulting product was purified by chromatography on silica gel using EtOAc/hexane (1:1) as eluting system to give the desired product (440 mg, 90%) as a white solid. 1H NMR (DMSO) δ (ppm): 8.52 (d, J=5.3 Hz, 1H), 8.01 ( t, J=6.5 Hz, 2H), 7.79 (d, J=7.4 Hz, 1H), 7.70 (s, 1H), 7.53-7.52 (m, 2H), 7.47 (t, J=7.6 Hz, 1H), 7.34 (d, J=4.5 Hz, 4H), 7.30-7.24 (m, 2H), 6.67 (d, J=5.3 Hz, 1H), 4.49 (s, 2H), 3.83 (s, 2H), 3.42 (s, 2H), 3.22 (s, 3H), 2.50 (q, J=2.2 Hz, 4H), 1.45-1.33 (m, 9H).
