To a solution of 233 (50 mg, 0.142 mmol) in DCM (2 mL), was added mCPBA (77%, 33 mg, 0.142 mmol) at 0° C. The mixture was stirred at 0° C. for 1 hour, water was added and the phases were separated. The organic layer was collected, washed with a 1% sodium hydroxide solution, dried over anhydrous Na2SO4 and concentrated under reduced pressure to afford title compound 236 (46 mg, 88% yield, crude) as a yellow solid which was used in the next step without additional purification. MS (m/z): 369.0 (M+1).
