A solution of compound 10C (1.5 g, 5.8 mmol) in NMP (7 mL) was heated to 220° C. for 3 h. After cooling to rt, the reaction mixture was poured into ice/water, and extracted with EtOAc (3×). The combined EtOAc extracts were washed with brine, dried (Na2SO4), and concentrated under reduced pressure. The crude product was chromatographed (silica gel) eluting with 0% to 50% EtOAc/hexane to furnish the title compound (0.7 g).
