Crude 4-[tert-butoxycarbonyl-(4-trifluoromethoxy-benzyl)-amino]-3-(2-phenoxy-acetylamino)-benzoic acid allyl ester was dissolved in methanol and 4N HCl in dioxan added. The reaction was stirred at 40° C. for 16 h. The crude material was purified via reversed phase preparative HPLC. MS(ISP): 483.3 (M+H)+.
