To a solution of compound 36 (539 mg, 1.02 mmol) in THF (4 mL) was added 2,4-bis(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1,3-dithia-2,4-diphosphetane-2,4-disulfide (539 mg, 1.02 mmol) and the reaction stirred overnight. The crude material was concentrated and purified by silica gel column chromatography with gradient of ethyl acetate (5-40%) in hexane to afford compound 37 (325 mg, 76%) as a white solid.
