In a similar fashion using route 14 general procedure 27, 5-methylquinolin-8-amine (Intermediate 44) (690 mg, 4.38 mmol) and 2-nitrobenzenesulfonyl chloride (1.15 g, 5.24 mmol) gave the title compound (820 mg, 57%). The structure was confirmed by 1H NMR.
