t-Butyl nitrite (120 μl, 1.1 mmol) added was added to a solution of 2-amino-N-(4-methoxy-quinolin-8-yl)benzenesulfonamide 571 (254 mg, 0.77 mmol) in AcOH/THF (1:1; 10 ml) at 0° C. and the mixture was stirred at 5° C. for 2 h. The crude residue was purified by column chromatography with DCM/MeOH (99:1) as the eluent followed by preparative HPLC (acidic conditions 1) to give the title compound (16 mg, 6%).
