Procedure

To the title compound from Step A (75 mg, 0.23 mmol) in DCM (4 mL) was added TFA (4 mL). Upon completion (˜3 h), the reaction was concentrated, neutralized with 5% Na2CO3 (aq) and extracted with DCM (3×). The combined organics were dried (Na2SO4) to give the title compound (52 mg) which was used without further purification. MS (ESI) mass calcd. for C12H20N4, 220.2; m/z found 221.1 [M+H]+.
